Created to identify and dismantle persistent racial discrimination and white privilege, the Arts Antiracism Commitment Team strives to foster open dialogue and collective accountability for a culture of zero tolerance for racism at the College of Arts.
As an initiative powered by the College of Arts, Arts Worx aims to redefining career opportunities for Arts students through work-integrated learning experiences that deliver value to their community, their careers, and their learning-for-life journey.
The Shakespeare Reconciliation Garden is the result of two interdisciplinary studies classes whose members listened to the stories of the former garden and to the experiences and knowledge of Indigenous Elders and knowledge keepers.鈥疶he garden provides an opportunity to reflect on reconciliation, and it is itself a model of reconciliation.鈥�
Meetings of the Scholarly Sharing Initiative have been running since 2011, and are a unique venue where faculty, students, and interested others gather to share, discuss, present, and receive feedback on their current scholarly work in a welcoming and supportive environment. These presentations are designed to encourage the exchange of research and scholarly work at 51吃瓜app, and to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and connections.
