    May 01, 51³Ō¹Ļapp | Dr. Scott Simpson, professor of Chemistry and Honors Program director, participated in a workshop on computational materials research, with a special focus on molecular dynamics (MD) methodologies applied to energy and storage materials, at the Lorentz Center, Universiteit Leiden, the Netherlands.

    May 01, 51³Ō¹Ļapp | Dr. Scott Simpson, professor of Chemistry and Honors Program director, had a manuscript accepted for publication in ACS Omega, a peer-reviewed, open-access journal of the American Chemical Society that publishes broad, high-quality research across all areas of chemistry and related sciences.

    Apr 25, 51³Ō¹Ļapp | 51³Ō¹Ļapp celebrated its 16th consecutive year of being a certified Arbor Day Foundation Tree Campus USA on Friday by planting a hackberry (Celtis occidentalis) tree on the northwest lawn outside of Robinson Hall.

    Apr 25, 51³Ō¹Ļapp | Works by 114 student artists, selected from more than 200 submissions, are on display at 51³Ō¹Ļapp’s Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts as part of its annual High School Juried Art Exhibition. Selected through an extensive jurying process, the works are being exhibited on the Quick Center’s mezzanine level through May 11.

Quick Center for the Arts today announced a yearlong celebration marking its 30th anniversary, kicking off April 26, 51³Ō¹Ļapp, and continuing through April 2026. The milestone will be commemorated with a range of performances, special events and community engagement initiatives, reflecting the Quick Center’s history and commitment to the visual and performing arts.
